baby grand piano

I am selling my beloved baby grand piano. It was bought from a reputable Sydney Dealer a few years ago. When purchased, it had been fully reconditioned from top to toe.

It is a Collard & Collard and was built in about the 1940's or 1950's

I get the piano tuned every 12 months. It is due for a tune now but it still sounds pretty good. This piano has lots of Character and is a regretful sale. I am only selling it as I just bought a digital piano and new piano. I am located in GLENBROOK and inspections by appointment are welcome.

More Details: I find the action fine, the keys do not get stuck and are pretty even throughout the keyboard. It has a nice tone with the old flavour. As it is only a small grand, the bass is not very rich like a larger grand.There are only 2 pedals (soft & Sustain pedal).The body looks pretty good for its age, there is no warping on the wood and it looks like an attractive piece of furniture. There are no cracks in the soundboard. The stool has adjustable height. It has a few buttons that have popped off and the padding may need repair as you sink into the seat too much. The lid lifts and has storage underneath although the hinge no longer holds the lid up. The books pictured are not included in the sale!!
